Lake is a 18 month old Mix-Breed in Philadelphia , PA, who needs $2,000 for Exploratory Surgery for Foreign Body.

Lake came into our life around December, she was a present from my cousin. We live in NE Philadelphia with our two other cats named River and Ocean, you can see where Lake gets here name from.

Lake was acting strange and began to not really drink much water, wasn't eating and vomiting. So we took her to the PASE a animal hospital in Philadelphia. They were great but told us that she has some sort of string or floss wrapped around her tongue, stuck in her throat and they were afraid it could damage her intestines after doing X-rays.

Lake is a very kind and loving cat. She loves being scratched and playing with toys. She is very energetic and playful. She loves playing with our two other cats and us humans as well.

We are not doing well financially at the moment and just had a home plumbing emergency not to long ago. Any body willing to help would mean the world to us. We hate to see her suffering and just want her to get better as soon as possible. We feel horrible being so helpless
