I rescued lake from a shelter as he was the last of his littermates to be adopted. He was the runt of the litter and from the moment I saw him, I knew that I could give him the best life. There’s not a day that goes bye that I regret ever saving him at the shelter even after all of his medical issues since he was only a year old.

Lake came into my life when he was only a few weeks old. He was the last of his littermates and the runt of the litter. I knew he was meant to be mine as soon as I saw a little black kitten running around with a ball in its mouth like a dog. He has been a great companion for five years. He has brought so many laughs to my little for family and he deserves the best life.

Lake has a 9 ur old older dog brother & had a younger cat brother who recently had to go to heaven at 4 yrs old because he had kidney cancer and was in renal failure.
The loss of his younger brother has stressed him out and caused him to have a complete blockage & needed immediate PU surgery in order to save his life. He recently had another UTI infection as this is common after surgery.

Because of his PU surgery, he continues to be susceptible to UTI issues. And just recently, he had a lower urinary track infection. This is an ongoing battle that we’ve been fighting since he was only a year old. Oradell Animal Hospital conducted the surgery in November 2021. But Dr. Voorhees in Lincoln Park New Jersey treats him for any flareups before and after his surgery.

Since the end of October I have had every single one of my three for babies at the emergency hospital. This is cost me over $10,000 in vet bills. It would mean the world to me to receive any type of donation to help me with the expenses concerning my fur family.
