Lambert the Sheepish Lion is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Battle Ground, WA, who needs $2,000 for Colonectomy Surgery and Enema/Ostepation Maintenance.

I have had him since he was a week old. He is my bestie and I love him! He and his siblings came to me when they were found at a construction site. While caring for Lambert, I knew he would have "some" issues which is why I kept him but didn't know the health issues would be in the realm of thousands of dollars and turning Lambert from an ordinary, sheepish cat into the "six-million dollar man!"

Unbeknownst to me, Lambert's hip had been crushed at the construction site. At 7 months he started presenting with the inability to defecate. It became extremely problematic, prompting a visit to Oregon State Vet School who determined his pelvic issues and suggested a Triple Pelvic Ostestomy. This worked for 8 months before the constipation issues came back, possibly due to nerve damage.

His sister is named Princess Leia, so Luke seemed logical BUT he truly does present as Lambert the sheepish lion. The World scares him and for almost a year, he had limited mobility; BUT, Lambert didn't let those things stop him. His World opened up after his surgery and the regular visits to the vet for enemas and check ups never get him down, he has a zest for life and it shows despite all!

I took a 2nd job to pay a previous $3000 vet bill but now a 2nd surgery to remove his colon to help defecation is needed and I am without funds. My Savings/401k gone, my own surgery deductible been saving for my surgery went to Lamb "gladly" and I just don't have anymore $
