Lana is a 8-year-old Boxer mix in Polk City, FL, who needs $425 for Surgery.

We got her from a Facebook ad 8 years ago: she was spunky and jumping all around when I arrived. She was jumping over a baby in home which was reason they got rid of her. She was a BIG ball joy lol. Me my 2 sons took her home they were so excited, she is the same age as my granddaughter also so they share a birthday!I There are no other pets at the home but she is like a person: shes our family!

She gives high fives, dances, smiles, sits, lies down, plays tag, tackle, tug a war, kisses, hugs and her favorite thing is the car ride When we reach the top if our bridge in town she starts talking! She loves laying out in sun! She is a survivor, during the hurricane we were out of a home and we took her with us everywhere. She adapts so well because she wants to be by our sides!

We are currently struggling through the pandemic, as are so many other people right now. Our dog is not well, which means we are not well either. We wish we had the funds to get this done right away, can you please help Lana?

Lana has a tumor that needs to be taken out. It is possibly cancer, but the vet at Outback Animal Hospital will test it when do the procedure. We cant live without her: her wound is gaping open and where it popped open needs surgery as soon as possible. Lana is discomforted by the wound and she needs help before too long.

Lana is a talker! She loves to talk and talk. Like I said, there isn't anything Lana can't do - she is like a little human. Our family is so blessed to have her and her personality melds to well with all of ours. She loves kids and other humans. She has so many friends everywhere she goes, and her personality is melting.
