We have had Leavitt for 2 years now. We picked him out at the Humane Society when my daughter fell in love with him after losing our previous cat of 8 years. He has definitely been a life saver for my daughter with her depression and anxiety. He cuddles with her on her bad days and helps her cope with life.

Leavitt sleeps everyday and every night with my daughter. He absolutely loves her. While she is doing school remotely he lies on her chest the whole time. When she gets up to go somewhere he has to follow her. He has to sit on the side of the bath tub if she’s taking a bath. If she leaves the house to go to work he just lays in her bed.

Unexpected injury with no emergency fund to help us get his care that he is going to need. We have a little money to help but not a lot. Unable to get financial help as we have a bankruptcy.

Waterville Veterinary Hospital in Waterville, NY will be assisting us with his injury. He got out of the house on us last evening when I went outside to get something. He has never done this before. He’s an inside cat. He didn’t come back until this morning. When he came in the house he was limping on his back foot. I looked at it and he literally tore half his toe off. Don’t know what to do.

My daughter is his favorite friend. I don’t think he cares to have other friends as long as he’s got her. He has toys that he loves such as ball, wands, etc but won’t play long as he’s got to be with his mommy for say. You can tell that his love for her is beyond anything. Such a great cat and I thank god we found him.
