About this campaign
Hello everyone, my name is Iridian, and I am Leia’s owner. Leia is a four-month-old puppy who came into my life unexpectedly at the end of November 2025. In the short time she has been with me, she has brought comfort, strength, and light during a difficult period, helping me move forward and focus on what truly matters.
On January 9th, 2026, my sweet Leia suddenly wasn’t herself, and I rushed her to ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital. She was diagnosed with a portosystemic shunt requiring surgery. For now, I manage her care with medication and diet, but I fear her condition may worsen. That’s why I’m here, asking for your help.
My sweet little Leia is truly one of a kind. She may be tiny, but she’s full of sass and has the personality of a big dog. She acts tough, but her heart is incredibly gentle and loving. She’s playful, curious, and brings so much joy, especially when she’s with my two-year-old niece—they’re inseparable, like best friends.
I’m a full-time student working full-time, barely covering living costs. Leia suddenly got sick, and she means the world to me. I’m taking a second job, but I’m asking for any support from my community to help with her care.
