About this campaign

My coworker's dog had puppies and I was lucky to get Leia for free. She is our first inside dog and she is the light of our family and our baby girl. We had to travel for a family funeral and my girl got out of the fence and got hit by a car. We do not live near this area and we had to rush her to an emergency vet in Springdale, Arkansas.

Leia is very energetic and loves to take walks through town with her mama. She sleeps on a blanket in the front room( she chews every bed she gets). The best part of her day is when her big brothers get home from school and when her daddy gets home from work. She looks a little scary but she is a big baby who just wants belly rubs.

Leia is baby and she knows. She recently got a new sister and we have gotten to see her jealous side. She likes her sister as long as she gets the first lovins. She is afraid of the vacuum and has been since the day we brought her home. Leia and mama have morning cuddle routine everyday when her daddy goes to work.

We live in central OK and are visiting Jay for a funeral. In our short stay, Leia managed to get hit by a car. It was a hit and run incident and we had to rush her to the nearest emergency vet in Springdale. We took her to the animal emergency and specialty center of Northwest Arkansas. She had some internal bleeding and bruised lungs but she's resting and recovering well.

This was a very unexpected family emergency at a time when we are already having unexpected expenses from the death of a family member. Leia has been my best friend since the day I brought her home and I wouldn't know what to do without her.
