Leia is an 8-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix in Napanoch, NY, who needs $4,000 for surgery to remove a spinal cord cyst.

I adopted Leia from craigslist when she was only a couple weeks old. I chose her name from Starwars, Princess Leia, because she is a little princess. I saved her from horrible people who didn't take care of her. I have two other dogs and a cat who are all best friends. They sleep together, play tug of war, they are all little black dogs who love each other very much. The few days Leia had to be hospitalized my other two dogs wouldn't even get out of bed because they missed her so much. She is a couch potato who loves to be held. We take family walks together and Leia has her own backpack that she gets carried in because she would rather sunbathe then have to do some exercise.
