About this campaign
URGENT! We have a foster. We had a transport for Lemon. We have a surgeon ready to operate next week. BUT, we can’t rescue Lemon without your help.
At just 10 weeks old, Lemon was abandoned, struck by a car, then left to die with her back leg completely shattered. Thankfully, some kind soul found her injured body and brought her to a busy shelter.
When we heard Lemon’s story, we reached out to our Pathway To Hope community. Quickly, we had a foster, we had an orthopedist, we had transport…we just didn’t have the funds.
We cannot commit to rescuing Lemon without the funds to provide her with the surgery she so desperately needs – a specialized orthopedic surgery costing thousands of dollars. Right now, her broken leg is healing incorrectly.
Lemon struggles to walk but is happy and tries SO hard to be the puppy she is inside.
She deserves to live the rest of her life running, jumping and playing like any puppy should. Please consider a donation today to help us save Lemon the right way – with a home, family, and the specialized surgery she so deserves!
