Sweet Lenny Survived a Donkey Kick — Now He Needs Your Help to Heal

Lenny’s story is one of resilience — and now he needs our help to finally heal. This gentle boy is believed to have suffered an old injury after reportedly being kicked by a donkey. Despite everything he’s been through, Lenny remains incredibly sweet, trusting, and ready to start his new life. On April 6th, he made an important step forward and moved into a loving foster home where he’ll stay while we evaluate his condition and plan next steps.

Unfortunately, Lenny is showing signs of pain and limited mobility in his right rear leg and hip. Our veterinary team needs to perform X-rays and additional diagnostics to understand the extent of the old injury. Once we have those results, he may require surgery to correct the damage and give him the chance to move comfortably again.
