About this campaign
I got leo in 2021 as a baby and he has been my baby ever since. Leo is a 5 year old miniature dachshund. He is so full of life and has such an amazing personality!
Leo was diagnosed with IVDD which is very common in his breed. In his case he started to limp. I took him to the vet and they didn’t see an urgent need to any type of MRI. Following a few weeks he began to lip stain and within hours he became paralyzed in his hind legs unable to move them. He was rush to the ER for emergency surgery. He had a herniated disc that was pushing on his spinal cord.
I was prior military and got stationed away from my family, so it is just me and my 2 dog. My dogs are my family, my children, and I would do anything to save them.
Leo surgery was very expensive. I could not pay eveything upfront so I had to do a care credit and put some on the cere credit and then the rest on a cried card. I just need some financial assistance in order to pay of his surgery.
