Leo has developed a tumor in his mouth. This type of tumor develops in the gums and works its way into the jawbone. The only way to remove it is by having a Mandibulectomy. (Removal of the infected region of the lower jaw)
Truth be told, the tumor is growing rapidly and will continue to do so until it breaks his jawbone and eventually blocks his ability to eat and breathe. I have to hand feed him now as he refuses to eat from the bowl. Its just to painful and difficult.
