We got Leo 3.5 years ago as a puppy to help my stepson, who is on the spectrum and was terrified of dogs. Leo stayed tiny at 3.5 lbs, but his impact was huge—he completely cured that fear! Along with his best bud Zoey, Leo fills our home with endless love and joy through his perfectly sweet yet spicy personality. He changed our family's life.

Leo was born with a condition patellar luxation, meaning his back right kneecap easily slips out of place. The first couple of years he was able to manage, as he has gotten older , the condition has severely worsened. Lately, the pain and instability are winning. He used to hike and loved to be chased.
