About this campaign

We welcomed Leo into our family in 2013, and he has been by our side ever since. He has shared every stage of our lives, bringing love, comfort, and companionship every day. Watching him face serious health challenges now has been heartbreaking, and we are doing everything we can to help him recover.

In May 2026, Leo developed a urinary tract infection, followed by pancreatitis. During treatment, doctors discovered severe adrenal cancer and two large liver masses. He now requires surgery and ongoing care. He is being treated at VHS San Marcos, California, by Dr. Thomson. Radiation was considered but is not a viable option. and might complicate post treatment life.

Leo has been my constant companion through years of anxiety and depression. His unconditional love, gentle presence, and loyal companionship have helped me through some of my hardest days. He is truly family, and after everything he has given me, I want to give him every chance to heal.

I work as a teaching assistant and have very limited financial resources. Leo's treatment has already exceeded over $25,000, forcing me to rely on loans from friends and credit cards. Any support, no matter the amount, will help give Leo the care he needs. Thank you.
