About this campaign
I've known and loved Leon since the day he was born. He's the sweetest most loving cat I've ever known, and I've been through a lot with him. He was with me when I got my own place for the first time, he's been with me through hard times and happy times, and he's made both of them way better than they could've been otherwise.
Leon is currently being treating at the Swansboro Animal Hospital Emergency and Trauma Center for a urinary blockage. He had to have a catheter put in to unblock his urinary tract and they're keeping him to make sure everything is all clear afterwards. We're trying to raise enough money to get him his last day of treatment.
Leon is one of the biggest cats I've owned, with the quietest, most gentle voice I've ever heard from a cat. He doesn't really meow so much as he chirps and trills at us. He has a tendency to try to crawl under the sheets/blankets with us. When he was younger, he would stand on his hind legs and put his fronts paws on my chest, but I think he thinks he's too big for that now.
This was all so sudden, and more expensive than we could've imagined. We've been in contact with organizations that help fund surgeries, and we're so close to getting him the full help he deserves. I can't imagine my life without Leon. He's my best friend.
