About this campaign

At 13 years old, Leon Tigs III has already given his mom 13 years of love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Now, this beloved senior cat is fighting for more time.

Leon was diagnosed with advanced-stage multiple myeloma, a rare form of cancer, in December 2025. At the time, he was deteriorating rapidly, suffering from severe anemia, extreme weakness, and difficulty breathing. His condition was frightening, and his family wasn't sure how much time they had left with their beloved boy. But Leon wasn't ready to give up.

Thanks to dedicated veterinary and oncology care, Leon has now been in clinical remission for six months. His family is determined to do everything possible to keep him there.

Leon’s treatment plan includes daily Prednisolone, a chemotherapy pill called Cytoxan every few weeks, regular bloodwork, and ongoing appointments with his veterinary oncologist. Depending on the frequency and care required, his oncology expenses can range from approximately $214 to $619 every 6–8 weeks.

His mom is now trying to raise $2,000 to help cover Leon's cancer treatment through the remainder of 2026. For Leon's mom, this isn't simply about saving a beloved pet. Leon has been her constant companion for 13 years and has helped her through her own difficult medical journey. She describes him as her emotional support, her little comedian, and a source of comfort through some of the hardest moments of her life.

She has already charged approximately $8,000 in veterinary expenses to make sure Leon could receive the care he needed. Now, she is asking for help so she can continue his treatment without taking on even more debt.

Leon has already fought his way into remission. Please help his family give him the chance to stay there. Every dollar brings this beloved boy one step closer to more precious time with the person who has loved him since the day she brought him home If you can't donate, sharing Leon's fundraiser can be just as valuable and may help connect his family with someone who can.
