Leona is the third nearly identical cat we've rescued after being abandoned outside a Family Dollar store. Just like her lookalike brothers or cousins before her, Leona was left behind— unvetted and unprotected. But now she’s safe with Adopt a Cat Foundation, and we’re committed to giving her the fresh start he deserves.

Leona is sweet, curious, and ready for a better life—but before she can be adopted, she’ll need a full round of veterinary care. That includes her spay surgery, vaccines, and a triple combo test for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm. None of this is optional—it’s the essential care every cat needs before they can safely and responsibly go to a forever home.

Adopt a Cat Foundation is an all-volunteer rescue currently caring for over 70 cats. We receive no government funding and operate solely on donations. Our vet bills are growing quickly, and every new rescue—like Leona—adds to the urgent need. But we believe every cat is worth saving, even when it stretches our resources to the limit.

Leona was spayed and vaccinated and tested negative for FIV, FELV, and heartworm. She is recovering and will be available for adoption soon!
