About this campaign

Lerue is a guy I took in from the feral colony up the street. He kept following me when I'd walk by and I was worried he'd get hit so started picking him up to take him with me so he didn't follow me across the road and drop him back off on the way back. He tried to follow me home once and I just kept him. He's the oddest cat I've ever met. Very sweet and loves to snuggle me like he's a person.

He became ill over the weekend and I'm sure it's urinary in nature. I can barely pay my own bills due to medical issues and major depression and have no extra money for vet visit. He needs to be seen asap so they can start antibiotics if it's an infection. He's sleeping in his litterbox today even tho he's the fussiest about it's cleanliness

Lerue is the littermate to Edward another feral from the colony who sought me out a month earlier. Both have been with me for 5 yrs and were about 2 months old when they arrived. In addition I have Meelos who was a rescue and is 10yrs old and I've got a one year old who was abandoned in the neighborhood last year when he was tiny. Lerue is their best friend and playmate

I've not been working due to physical illness that's being looked into and possibly malignant and it's taken a huge toll on my mental health. I'm not working and living on a portion of my dad's social security which my mom got when he passed in 2021. Trying for disability
