Lexi is a 11 year old Golden Retriever in Louisville, KY, who needs $2,000 for CCL Repair - Modified Maquet Procedure (MMP).

We rescued Lexi from the Animal Care Society & she had a rough start to her life because she had Parvo, which is a deadly puppy disease. She had to be hospitalized for 3 nights to receive 24 hr care & medicine. After that, she has been a joy to our family & all who meet her. She has grown up with our 3 sons & has been the most mild mannered, sweet dog.

Lexi has both of her back ACLs torn & we are wanting to have 1 of them fixed because she can’t walk at all now & she still has a lot of life left to bring joy!

Lexi loves her family & knows she has a good life - a few times that we’ve accidentally left the back gate open & our neighbors would call that she was out, she would just stay in the backyard on her own or just go around front & wait on our front step for us to return! 😂

Without revealing too much, our middle son has struggled a lot with mental health issues and we’ve had to pay for residential treatment centers that are extremely expensive to help him get better. This has depleted our savings & caused us to take out a 2nd mortgage.
