Lexi is a 8 year old Boxer in Maysville , KY, who needs $1,500 for Amputation of Hind Leg.

Lexi came into our lives 9 short years ago. We bought her from a local breeder at just 5 weeks old. We knew once we laid eyes on her she was the right choice for our family. She lives at home with another boxer that’s a male (that’s Cooper) and our elderly chihuahua Charlie.

We received devastating news that our Lexi girl has an osteosarcoma and will need immediate amputation. As you can imagine this wasn’t an easy decision to make. We are hopeful that the amputation will remove the tumor and help restore her back to good health.

She has been through a lot with our family. Separation, death, health problems, financial hardship, cold nights, wet nights, the unknown nights. She has never left our side.

As a mother of 2 daughters, in the last 2 years my family has suffered a lot. My husband suffered 3 strokes 2 years ago, leaving him disabled. Lexi is my best friend. I got her in a really trying time in my life and she has become a child to me.
