About this campaign
This is my baby, Lexi. We got Lexi from the Cobb County Animal shelter about 7 years ago. We are the Watson family which includes my husband and I, Lexi , our two children and my father in law that we provide support for. Lexi has brought so much joy and love to our family. It really breaks our heart to see her like this.
Lexi is outgoing and just love being around her family. She has a special bond with my daughter Alysha who is now a sophomore in college. Lexi and Alysha has special way that they play together. They are true siblings and love each other so much. Lexi makes everyone in the household day and she is loved by us all.
We have a daughter in college out of state that we support and financially we don’t have the funds for the surgery. We have a Care Credit account for Lexi but because she kept developing infections, we have exhausted our credit limit on the card. We just want Lexi well!!
Lexi has this huge mass as you can see in the photos. It is affecting her walking and she has developed several infections that we have treated. The vet isn’t sure if the mass is cancerous but we are hoping for the best. It has to be removed because it is seriously affecting her quality of life. Her surgery will be performed by Animal Community Care. She really need this surgery.
Lexi is extremely special to me because I would have ever thought in a million years that I would feel this type of love and affection for a dog. I use to be terrified of dogs and now I love them. I talk to Lexi, I love on Lexi, I take excellent care of Lexi. She is one of my kids. I look forward to seeing her when I come home from work. I couldn’t image life without my baby!!
