We rescued lightening for my son for Christmas he was just a baby only 5 weeks. We couldn't pick him up until he was 2 pounds but we visited him twice a week every week. He has the greatest personality, loves everything and everyone. Sleeps ith his dad (my son) every night which has been so hard with him in the hospital. Hes intelligent and plays fetch and can jump so high as well as open doors.

Lightening is an all indoor cat but also loves the occasional moment in the back yard. He hates going towards the car and never wants to leave. He is obsessed with my son (his dad) and has the cutest little meow to have chats with. He plays all the time and loves getting into trouble but always makes it up to you with kisses and snuggles. He loves being brushed and is really the only time he purrs

Lightening is such a unique cat, he listens so well whenever given directions it's almost like he is a human, he loves a raw diet but will eat just about anything, he can't jump all the way to the top of our door, plays soccer by launching the ball back, and fetch and trots back... oh and he loves hair ties and scrunchies and gets so excited to play every time.

He started displaying signs of UTI which worried me because male cats can be far more severe. He was still eating, drinking & playing for a week when out of no where he just froze trying to pee out of the litter box & wouldn't move. We brought him in right away, they started running the tests & he just kept getting worse. He's been there for two days they say he has to stay two more &needs surgery

Over the last 5 years we have had extreme financial constraints due to child custody battles & covid hindering work for two years. We are trying to get back on track but have no savings and only got approved for 1000 in carecredit. Surgery could cost 6k. I can't let him die
