Lika is a 9 year old Chihuahua in Hempstead, NY, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Repair Broken Hip.

Hi everyone, this is Lika she has been a part of our family since she was a 3 week old puppy. She had given us so much precious memories and brought a different kind of love to our family , she also gifted us with a boy named spike who is 6 years now. They live in a 4 bedroom house with a yard big enough to run for days

Unfortunately on April 18, 2025 lika was hit by a car she suffered two fractures in her hip the car didn’t stay to explain how it happened we took her to west Hempstead animal hospital to get her checked the vets told us she’ll have to undergo surgery and that it would atleast cost 5,000 dollars

Lika is our first ever pet, she been with us for a long time and all the memories our family has with her. It really hurts our heart seeing her in so much pain and wanting to walk . It would hurt us even more knowing she won’t be around to greet us at the door everyday when we get home ,

This emergency was totally unexpected and financially things have been rough with the current economy, we’ve managed to gather 2k but will need help for the rest if anyone with a good heart and cares about animal would help it would greatly be appreciated may God bless you
