Someone dropped off this adorable dog at our house 6 years ago. One look into his eyes and he captured our hearts. It feels like he has always been here. I took him to get groomed and she noticed his eyes were yellow. I got him into an emergency vet and was told his red blood cell count should be between 35-50. His was at a 4. They have given him blood transfusions and antibiotics.

Lil dog has big brothers and a sister. They are cats. But he loves them just the same. Everyone loves him. When I take him to the pet store, he loves the attention. He will show his self. He will walk around and look at the other animals. And he sits so good when he is groomed. He is just our lil baby, our Lil Dog

He will not let me near my boyfriend. If I go to out my hand on him, lil dog will pull my hand away with his paw.. when he eats, he will take 1 morsel at a time out of the bowl. And if you give him a treat, he has to have something to cover it up with and he will lay with his nose to it until he eats it.

He is in liver failure. They have given him blood transfusions to raise his red blood cell count. When he went in it was 4. Now it is at 20. His veterinarian says he is doing so much better. He is following everyone around like he is their little mascot. But I know he misses his family like we miss him.

We are on a very tight budget. I’m the only one that works. My boyfriend draws a check because he is disabled. We have our 3 kids still living with us. We all miss him so much. Even our cats wonder where he is. He is so vital in all of our lives. Our bed is empty right now
