Lila rose is a 3-year-old Lab/mix in Elcajon, CA, who needs $600 for Spay.

My dog Lila is my emotional healing animal. She was rescued from some abusive owners who used to physically abuse her, she was brought up on the streets homeless. Then she rescued me one horrible night when my 15 year old son was murdered. She has been by my side ever since helping me cope through some tough times. I haven't been able to afford much,we are off the streets now.

Lila is a spunky girl with a personality that doesn't quit. She's very protective over her owner and she doesn't like to see me upset. She always wants to play fetch with her toys or chew on her rawhide bones. She's been sleeping a lot more lately though and seems like she's a little bit down. Her attitude just isn't her normal self.

I'm unemployed due to covid-19 and am barely making ends meet financially. We are living out of hotels. I would be forever grateful is someone could reach out to help Lila. Thank you.

The vet gave me a bill of $600 to get Lila spayed, but I can't afford that kind of money. She has had one litter of 12 pups and that has worn her down some. I would like to get her fixed so that she quits crying when she pees, and I think she will be a happier dog. Not to mention dogs live a longer life when they get spayed and neutered.

Lila always wants to be part of a conversation, if she hears people talking she chimes in with her own language. When I took Lila to the vet last he told me a lot of female dogs that aren't spayed end up having urinary tract issues This is what Lila's been going through. She just isn't her regular self lately.
