About this campaign

Liliana-Rose I renamed her with a name meaning new beginning and purity. I was immediately drawn to Lili, I had just moved into my own place all alone for the first time in my life. I read her story the words “abandoned in a dumpster” stood out to me, I decided then I would take her home and provide her with a life she deserved.

Lili has a condition called stomatitis, her vet (union animal hospital) said she lost the genetic lottery and it happened to her very young. She said she could have had it and never shown us the pain she was in because she is a very strong stoic cat. Currently her front tooth is falling out and they all will need to be removed but she is in so much pain that she refuses to eat or drink.

Lili is a cat that sleeps under my special needs child’s bed every night and watches him from her cat tower, he comes home looking for her everyday she looks for comfort in him and I as much as we look for comfort in her. She has a 3 sisters, a cat, dog, and lizard and she watches over them like a mother. She is more than a cat to us she is our whole world. Our glue that holds us together.

When we took Lili in it was the most Monday of mondays, the car broke down, our son got sick. We spent all but 6 cents on Lili, and don’t have the financial means to afford a 2000 anestesia and full dental extraction. We are coming up with what we have but it’s not enough.
