Lillian Jetta-Belle is a 9-year-old Labrador Retriever in Lexington , NC, who needs $300 for Allergy Management- Recurrent Ear Infections.

When I was 5 years old Santa gave me the best gift/friend I could ever ask for... A puppy, a tiny black lab named Jesse Belle. She lived for 17 years. I adopted Lillian Jetta-Bell a couple years after Jess passed. We have been through so much together, I am a recovering addict. She alerted the neighbors twice and saved my life. She's so much more than just my dog. She's my best friend, my family.

Lillian 'Lilly' loves the water. The ocean, a pond, a puddle.. she's there. She sleeps under the covers with me and snores so loud I have to wear ear plugs sometimes. I decided to breed her so her wonder bloodline would continue and kept the runt. They can't go 5 mins without checking on each other.

Besides her pup, Lilly loves other animals. We had a stray cat come up pregnant and unfortunately died right after giving birth, Lilly took those kittens and treated them as her own. She is so special. I have conversations with her everyday and she looks at me like she knows exactly what im saying. It's like she can stare into my soul!

All her life Lilly has had ear infections. I believe it's pretty much just over producing yeast in her ears. I dry them as best I can after a bath or swim, clean them regularly, and add a little hydrocortisone cream (vets orders) sometimes it turns into an infection and she needs an antibiotic. She's in so much pain and constantly shaking her head. I just want her to not hurt.

Everyone is having a tough time right now due to the economy. I lost everything when I was using. I'm clean and sober now but that means I'm also starting new. New job, trying to buy a car, rent a house.. she saved my life and I owe her. I want my playful girl back.
