Fate brought us together in 2017 when I met Lilly at an animal shelter in Nashville, TN. Lilly was deaf, skin and bones, covered in dirt and had two ear infections and was days away from being euthanized. I lived alone and worked ten hours a day 4 days a week and had no business adopting her but there were forces at work that insisted on it. The universe smiled on me the day I adopted Lilly.

My whole world changed when I adopted Lilly. She saved my life and it wasn't long before I got the best job I've ever had working from home and being able to spend all my time with her. I was not in the best place when Lilly found me and she allowed me to look in the mirror and finally see myself again after a toxic relationship. Lilly loves people. Lilly loves life. Lilly wakes me up every day by gently putting her paw in my hand and giving me the sweetest most non invasive kiss ever. Everyone who has ever met her has fallen in love with her. She loves going for car rides and loves being clean. She will not hesitate to get in the shower and loves when I wash her face. People who aren't even fond of dogs quickly fall in love with her. Lilly loves children.

On Feb 21, 2023, Lilly was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. I have experienced unfathomable sadness as a result. The love of my life. My little girl. My soulmate. She's not even 8 years old. Her only chance to live a longer life is an expensive treatment called stereotactic radiation at PetCure Oncology in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Holmes and her staff are waiting for her there.

I have spent over $10,000 on Lilly in the last eight months which has financially broken me. Between expensive overnight hospital stays due to seizures, removing an ulcer out of each of her eyes that showed up seven months apart and a $4600 dollar MRI, we really need help.
