Lilo was saved from a Walmart parking lot, and appeared to have not eaten for days as just a 7(ish) week old puppy. As I saw her sweet face I knew I needed her in my life just as much if not more than she needed me. She is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet and her favorite thing is cuddling under the covers with my husband and I. Her presence lights up any room and she can make any person happy.

Lilo began puking up blood abruptly, which resulted in a very quick ER vet visit. My husband and I sat waiting for answers until 3AM when they finally discharged her, still not sure what was causing it. After arriving back home, Lilo began having bowel movements with fresh blood and clots in it, and will not eat food. She’s lethargic, and has now been hospitalized while they search for the cause.

Lilo is a dog that makes your heart feel warm. There really is no other way of describing it. She licks your tears when you’re sad, plays gently when you’re happy, and no matter how tired she is, will follow you whenever you get off the couch. She loves her cat and dog siblings, and all of her doggie cousins as well! Her favorite thing is eating cheese, and you could never have a bad day with her
