Lily is a dog that bounced around 4 homes before she was given to us. They warned us she was 'crazy', but from the first time we saw her we knew she belonged with our crazy family. She's a Shih Tzu mix and was a complement to our male Shih Tzu. If we are around another dog, when we arrive home she does not get near us, very jealous in a cute way!

Lily is one of two dogs, 3 cats, 2 teenage daughters, a wife and husband. She's been with us for almost 8 years and we want her around as long as possible! I went through a crisis and is designated as my therapy dog because she never left my side and was a very calming influence on me and my family.

I suffered a traumatic injury and have very little use of my left hand, I've been out of work for 16+ months and luckily my wife is still working. We are receiving food assistance and medicaid but there is very little money to treat her.

She has been house broken. since a puppy, and recently she has peeing in spots throughout the house. We took her to our primary vet who diagnosed her with a UTI and gave us medication.Our vet recommended x-rays for a detailed exam and he informed us of an almond sized stone and necessary surgery. The vet is Ronald Ridge DVM at St Francis Animal Hospital.

Lily is very animated and is always happy to see us if it's been a day or a few minutes. When it is walk time, she barks at my daughters to hurry up because she loves to be outside. We have a male Shih Tzu (Lucky) and she steals his toys and hides it from him. She always nips at his legs to get him aggravated with her payoff being licked to death.
