Lincoln is a 2-year-old Lab/pitbull mix in Centerton , AR, who needs $2,470 for TPLO surgery .

Lincoln is MY Sonshine! He is just as the song goes: "you are my sunshine my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You never know dear how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away!" ..but for my whole family as well. HE rescued US at a hard point in our lives! God put us at that family's home at just the perfect time! Lincoln also has his litter mate with him, Delilah.

Lincoln is (was for now) my running buddy. He loves going on runs with me, hiking with his family and playing at the park. He prefers to NOT play in the water unless it is HOT outside. Lincoln loves getting treats like carrots, frozen applesauce in his kong, frozen veggies.. Anything really. He takes turns sleeping with each of his family members because sharing is caring!

Because of the current situations happening right now, our funds are just not available to to pay for this extra lump sum cost of his surgery. I personally need my dog back. He is getting more and more depressed from the lack of activities and it is saddening.

In February of 2020 Lincoln sustained an injury to his right knee and with his size has torn his CCL(ACL for dogs) and needs surgery. We are building a pool for us to use as a therapy pool for him to get the exercise he needs to keep that leg strong. It is a process and we are having to do this on limited income. When we got our dogs they came from a malnourished litter, but are healthy today!

Lincoln and his human dad are the only males in this FIVE female household. As my husband and I would say: we finally got our son. With so many "gems" in this family he takes on the protector roll very seriously. Although he thinks he is the primary protector, his litter mate, Delilah, proves herself to be the BOSS of the house. And he submits to her on most occasions.
