About this campaign
Meet our boy Lincoln. We adopted him and his brother when they were 3 months old. They are now 3 and are inseparable. We also have three dogs, a Great Dane, a Pitt mix, and a Lab/Border Collie mix. Lincoln is very sweet and likes to snuggle with his brother, his family, and his doggie friends! We love our pets so much and all of them have been rescued.
About two months ago, Lincoln was diagnosed with Feline Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). This is a very serious condition that causes pain and mobility issues, as well as nerve damage and possible paralysis. Lincoln needs spinal surgery, which will be done a BluePearl Pet Hospital by a neurologist. The MRI and surgery are estimated to be around $10,000.
Lincoln loves to play and snuggle with his doggie friends, but he LOVES his brother. They do everything together. Lincoln likes watching birds and playing with toys. He knows his name and lets out the sweetest chirp when you call his name, as if to say hello. ❤️
Watching him in pain is very difficult and I cannot imagine the alternative to surgery. Please help Lincoln become pain free!
The surgery is the only way to relieve Lincoln’s pain and to help his mobility. He has stopped interacting with his family and doesn’t want to be touched or held. He doesn’t even want to be around his brother. He’s in pain and we are desperate to help him!
