About this campaign
Linda is a Saint Bermastiff mix who I got at 8 weeks old. She came from a very rural place and was in a muddy kennel with siblings and a mother that was a rescue but had behavioral issues. Linda developed her own behavioral issues and many recommended euthanasia, but I was able to work with her and although it took time, patience, lots of energy, and love she was worth it! Linda made progress!
Linda overcame behavioral issues. She has always had bad allergies and that will be treated after the elephant in the room. The elephant I speak of is Canine Cancer and she has Sarcoma. The mass is quite huge although she doesn’t seem to be in pain. She eats, plays, drinks, goes outside normally. The mass needs removal for best odds. The vet is willing and able to do so! They was great with Linda.
Linda has overcome so much partly due to being born in a rural area to a dog momma that wasn’t much wanted and had issues and partly due to her own issues and other things. Now she has to overcome Cancer, but I know she can do it!! She’s so strong and a very smart doggo. She has a loving family including her mawmaw and I. She’s an inside doggo that is spoiled and sleeps in bed.
I am low income in rural SWVA and we have a good history of rescuing animals from this area. I work at Family Dollar and I took out a credit card just to get her seen. I have applied for grants, but so far nothing. Linda means the world to me!! She has a chance.
