My mother adopted her dog after she was abandoned 3 time from her previous 3 owners, they didn't want to take care of a dog with multiple issues. She had to get tumors removed twice years apart from each other but they never gave her issues in the 8 years she has lived with my mother. She didn't start getting sick until this year in June

My mothers dog loves to sleep on her huge dog bed that my mother got her in the living room, she will sleep with her huge teddy bear. She will wake my mother up in the morning and they go on daily walks 2 to 3 times a day making my mother be very active and help her get out of the house. My mother has told me they both relax on her recliner while she watches tv at the end of the day.

My mother lives alone and they both saved each other, her dog was abandoned 3 times and my mother has kept for going on 8 years now. They love each other a lot. Whenever my mom has to go somewhere for the whole day and won't get back until they following day her dog will sleep next to my front door. My moms dog probably has diabetes or a kidney issue. We don't have money to get a proper diagnosis, I just made an appt because her dog isn't eating & we are worried for her well being. The vet told us she might need insulin if it is diabetes or she needs to get on IV's to stabilize her health if it's her kindy's or other issues we don't have a diagnosis yet.

The vet told us the treatment for whatever diagnosis we might get or even the follow-up appointment to get her screenings and blood-work might cost between $300+ up to $3k+ depending on the severity of the condition my mothers dog is in. She might need insulin or IV's.
