Link is a 3 year old Russian White, Black and Tabby in Asheville, NC, who needs $2,000 for Urinary Blockage and Perineal Urethrostomy.

My cat Link has unfortunately gotten a urinary blockage which is life threatening. In total I have been quoted around $8,000 for everything for him.
He is staying overnight at Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital and will be transferred to MedVet tomorrow for weekend monitoring, where he will also need a PU operation (perineal urethrostomy) to prevent this from happening anymore.

Link was diagnosed with Urinary Tract Disease and anxiety back in November of 2021, just after he turned a year old in October. We have had to take him to the emergency vet many times for these same issues (every 6 months to a year it happens), but it has always been able to be fixed within the one trip.
He is currently at Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital
He will be transferred to MedVet afterwards.

Link is a very loving, cuddly, and caring boy! He loves to play with and carry his tiny squishmallow toys around, as well as play with his brother Navi and sister Maple! He is a bit skiddish around new people, but once he gets used to you, he will ask for pets and cuddles nonstop! He brings so much love and joy into our lives.

Cedar Ridge is quoting around $700-$900
MedVet is quoting $5000-$7500 (which is where we would prefer the funds to go towards)
This all totals around $8,000 max.
We unfortunately are in a place where we cannot afford this, but we love our baby so much to not try to fix it.
