My cat was adopted this year from the humane society. His previous owner was arrested and he was found in a hotel room. I am a college student that lives in a 2BR apartment with 4 girls, money is tight.

My cat had severe allergies that cause constant ear infections. He is currently on specialty food that costs $144 a bag for his food allergies. These infections involve yeast and bacteria and he scratches his ears until they bleed. We know he is allergic to dust and he requires allergy shots as a next step. He also requires treatment for ongoing infections.

Link is my best friend. Every night he sleeps with me or my roommates. He loves to sit on the couch with us while we are watching TV and he makes sure to sit in the middle so he can be next to both of us. Whenever I get home from class he greets me at the door. He is the sweetest cat I’ve ever met and I want him to be happy and healthy more than anything.

I am a college student receiving financial aid. When I adopted Link, I had the funds to care for the average cat. However, Link has become extremely expensive because of his constant ear infections, specialty food, and other vet visits.
