About this campaign
We rescued Linus and his brother Snoopy from the Sebring FL animal shelter when they were 12 weeks old. Their bio’s were so sad. Their mother and siblings were killed by a car and they were found on the side of a road. I couldn’t separate them so I surprised my wife with the news of adopting two dogs. Since Covid, I’ve worked from home and havent been away from them for more then an hour at a time
Linus is an affectionate loving boy that loves hours of belly rubs and cuddling. All three of our pups must sleep in our bed. I got a small pull out bed so they could be at the same height as our bed, but it’s not close enough. lol. Linus and his brother are inseparable. As the runt, he somehow is the boss of his brother even though he’s outweighed by 20 lbs. By far the best dogs I’ve ever had.
Linus is my baby. My wife and son call me the dog whisperer because of the strong bond we have. His goofy playful attitude and lovable personality melt my heart.
When Linus was a pup we noticed a limp. The vet said he has a luxating patella and needed surgery around $2,500. We haven’t been able to afford it and now his random limp has become daily. Walking on three legs is hard to watch when he tries to keep up with his brother. He’s developed early arthritis because of his condition. Surgery will give him back years of brotherly love and family walks.
Between Covid, inflation, and the cost of raising kids it’s been very hard to save and prioritize Linus’s surgery. Giving Linus his ability to run and play would mean the world to him and his daddy. He’s my best friend and I can’t keep seeing him go through life in pain.Help
