Little Bear is a 2-year-old Shiba Inu in Lancaster, PA, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Ultrasound.

Bear is my emotional support animal, he’s genuinely the dog I never knew I wanted but can’t imagine my life without now. I got him from a family member whose pups had pups and he was the smallest Little Bear he fit in the palm of my hand. He was born on Thanksgiving of 2020. I’m pretty sure we can all say during that time we all needed something to make our days a little brighter and he’s my sun.

I have spent every day since getting him with him, and to just think of having to wake up and have him not be there snuggled up against me upside down broken Bear I’ve come to call it since he does not look like he’d be comfortable upside down and wrapped like a pretzel in his blanket but he wouldn’t have it any other way. There isn’t a day that he doesn’t make me smile.

No matter what I’m doing or where I’m going he always wants to be by my side I can be preparing dinner and he’s laying on the floor in the kitchen with me with his head on my foot. If there’s ever a time that I need him and I say ow or ouch he will come running just to make sure that I’m OK. He’s so special in so many ways and there isn’t another dog like him.

I can’t honestly say what’s wrong with him exactly. He’s currently at the emergency Animal Hospital. I couldn’t even go with him and I’m crying because I couldn’t be there for him when all he’s done is be there for me. He’s having trouble expressing his bladder and he’s in pain and I just I’m exploring every avenue to get him the care he needs. He shouldn’t suffer because I can’t provide.

I’m currently on my eighth denial of disability and I am completely reliant on my partner and my dog. I have degenerative disc disease I have social anxiety disorder I’m bipolar, it’s hard for me just to wake up every day with all of this weight on my shoulders. Bear Helps.
