About this campaign
I got Little Bit for my mom when she was battling breast cancer. He lived with her for 6 years until she passed away. And I just couldn't give him up after that, so he became my trucker dog until I finally stopped driving a truck over the road a couple of years ago.
I noticed earlier this year that his left eye has started to become cloudy, and recently his right eye as well. I immediately knew it was cateracts. What I found out later is cateract surgery for me would be half the cost of the same surgery for him. I haven't taken him to a vet yet, because I just can't afford it right now. I don't even know of a good one to go to since I'm not from here,
He is super energetic, loves attention, and growls at all of the people I approve of him growling at. Crazy smart when he wants to show it. And runs in circles faster than he can keep up with his feet when excited.
I'm at the beginning of bankruptcy after a run of bad luck with a truck I owned. I'm still adjusting to a much lower income than what I used to have. But I can't let this little dog spend the next 6-8 years blind, he means too much as the only living connection to my mom.
