LITTLE ROSIE isn't complaining. She is totally enjoying her pampered life in her foster home. But she has had some tough obstacles pop up in her life, and we are committed to making sure she gets everything she needs from here on out.

LITTLE ROSIE is about 8 years old and is a little peanut at only 4.5 lbs.! We took her into the rescue not knowing too much about her history other than that she was pulled from a shelter right before being euthanized, and ended up living with a sweet 90 year old woman for a very short time who unfortunately could not care for her.

LITTLE ROSIE has the sweetest personality and is a joy to have in foster care. She is a total snuggle bug and likes other dogs and every person she meets. She will make the ultimate companion for anyone looking for a low-key, sweet, lap dog.

Upon taking her into rescue, we knew right away she was going to need a dental. But in addition to that, we found three little lumps. After the vet consultation, it was determined that she has mammary tumors that need to be removed immediately. The surgery will include complete removal of the tumors as well as biopsies. Her surgery date is set for November 9th at Clinton Vet Hospital.

LITTLE ROSIE'S procedures are estimated at $1,380-$1,970. This is a huge and unexpected expense for a small rescue group like ours. We need your help in order to keep our doors open for dogs like ROSIE and so many other dogs in need.
