Little man has been in my family for a long time now. I saved him from an abusive home, that didn't care for him correctly and treated him horrible. You can tell he was abused because if you move your hands a certain way he flinches like he is going to be hit. He is very loved by myself, my kids and my husband even though he doesn't want to admit it. We are a low income family.

At one of his vet visits a number of years ago they told me that he has an enlarged heart, and they would keep an eye on it. Since we moved to a different town and not liking our vet's in our area , he hasn't been to a vet in a number of years. For a while here and there he would go into this honking like cough and then go stiff and not responsive. It would pass quickly, but now it happens more.

He has a emotional bond with me, he knows when something is wrong and he likes to comfort us. He loves to be cuddled but has gotten a worse attitude since he is older now. I have him qualified as an emotional support animal. My family would be lost without him.

We are a low income family and don't qualify for companies like care credit and other ones. I have used an agency before with one of our other dogs but I can't use them again until January. I think he might be having some sort or seizures, trachea collapse or worse heart failure.
