Liza Meownelli is a stray cat that I adopted a week ago. She is so sweet and loving! And very smart! She loves head scratches more than anything and keeps me in her sight at all times. She has two (new to her)siblings named Jack and Freddie Purrcury. They get along with her really well. Freddie can tell that she’s sick and he is so gentle with her and always keeping an eye on her.

Liza showed up at my house in obvious distress. She has pyometra, which can be fatal in as little as a week. She needs a more involved and expensive ($2000) type of spaying because her uterus is filled with puss and it’s making it hard for her to breathe. With it she could make a complete recovery. Without it she will die and I can’t stand the thought of her feeling this bad and dying like that.

Liza deserves a chance to live in a home and be loved. I don’t know all that she’s been through but according to my vet she’s had some bad times. I wish I didn’t have to ask for help to get her treated but I do. Even as bad as she feels she finds happiness in head scratches, napping on my chest, lickable treats and being close (but not too close) to her new brother and sister. She is an angel.

I had to leave work a couple months ago to care for my disabled dad so I don’t have the $2000 needed for her surgery. That breaks my heart. I love her so much already and she loves me. She will die very soon without the surgery and I just want to give her a happy life.
