About this campaign
Our son desperately wanted a sibling. Someone to play with, confide in, and love. With a recent loss and heartbreak we knew a sibling was not in the cards. A family member told us about a sweet little puppy that might be the perfect fit to make our family whole. We brought home Liza and she instantly became Jack's very best friend. They have grown up together and are completely inseperable!
On the evening of February 10th, Liza admitted to Old Growth Emergency and Critical Care with Diabetic Ketoacidosis. We had no idea she was diabetic prior to this episode. The vet has advised us that her case is on the milder side, but she has continued to have difficulty keeping down food. They are very hopeful she can recover with enough time in the hospital.
Our Liza is a very active, talkative, happy girl. She loves to spend time with her boy and snuggle her best cat buddy, Purrsimmon. Everyone knows her greeting woo-woos!
The vet believe Liza has a good chance at recovery. She has been in the hospital for 3 nights and has shown good improvement, but is not ready to come home. Bringing her home now could undo all of the healing she has done. Liza needs extra help so she can come home!
