Loc is a 7-year-old Mixed in LAFAYETTE, CO, who needs $3,000 for MRI.

Loc came into our lives 7 years ago. He was the only black kitty in the litter that he was born into. We decided to give him a home because when we met him, he was hiding under a bed in a room all by himself. We have a one income household, where we have Loc and his older Shih-Tzu brother. We call him kitty because he has all the characteristics of a kitten, even though he is 7 years old.

Loc has never really been one to play with toys, just more so likes to be the typical younger brother and pester the dog, when he's feeling frisky. He has never really cared for wet food or even treats, he loves to eat the dog's wet food though. He likes to sleep in our bedroom closet where it's dark and cool. He tends to prop himself up against the wall, so it looks like he's sitting up.

With the CoVid-19 pandemic, we had to basically drain our rainy day fund paying household bills. We are a small family unit, but to keep our family complete would mean the world to us.

Currently, Loc is exhibiting signs of a possible stroke, or a tumor. He is walking flat-footed on all limbs, he has more weakness on his left side than his right side. At the moment, we are needing him to get an MRI performed to determine the cause of his weakness. Our veterinarian is Boulder Road Veterinary Specialists.

Loc loves to sleep on our chest. He will climb all the way up our bodies to get right beneath our chins to sleep. He tends to not move around after he's found his comfortable position, which usually isn't too comfortable for us. He is like a little alarm clock, especially when it comes time for food. He will never let you forget to feed him.
