Logan is a 6 year old European Shorthair in San Antonio, TX, who needs $985 for Tail Amputation.

This is Logan and he was a rescue. He was abandoned as a very young kitten under my neighbor's shed. The little girl that lived there helped get him out so I let her name him... She picked Logan. That was six years ago. I have an abundance of rescues but Logan is one of my favorites... He likes to make biscuits on the back of my neck or any other body part he gets access to. I love him dearly.

I'm not sure how he hurt his tail but the skin is severed completely around it. The bone is showing. He has never been outside. This is an urgent matter. I'm not sure if he hurt it climbing around on things or got it lodged somewhere then jumped down. His tail is already dead from that point down... About half way.

Logan is a talker. I tell him "come to Mama" and stands up on his hind legs he stretches out his front legs for be to pick him up, then he hugs my neck and plants his cold little nose against my neck. He gets along wonderfully with the other cats and even my dogs. He is very sweet and has an awesome personality which shines every time I see him. I can't imagine my life without him.

I am retired from working and a retired animal rescuer, even tho I still rescue if the need arises. I live off social security and I make sure all my animals needs are met each month before my own. Since things have gotten so expensive, I cannot afford any extras.
