Loki is a 5 year old Basenji in Claremore, OK, who needs $2,000 for Spinal Surgery.

I rescued Loki from the pound 5 years ago. They believe he is a basenji mix of some kind. He's the happiest, friendliest puppy I've ever had. He is my security, heart, and joy.

Loki is long in stature and ruptured a dis in his back last week. 70% of his spinal column was blocked with the rupture. He is a tough little guy and was still walking for cuddles. The surgery provides a 90% recovery rate. He’s currently at Veterinary Specialists in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

I don’t have children and Loki is everything to me and my parents. His emergency treatment was over $7000 despite his strong attitude and happy go lucky outlook. Loki reminds me to live life to the fullest everyday.

Loki is young and expected to make a 90% recovery back to normal pet life. He’s a member of my family and he deserves the best care possible. Any help is greatly appreciated.
