loki is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Dover, PA, who needs $1,200 for Internal Bleeding.

Loki was a rescue from the SPCA, ironically we went to see another dog but when we saw Loki we wanted to meet him. (the other dog got adopted don’t worry) Loki has been the best thing to happen to our family, my step dad never wanted a dog and now he’s his best friend they do everything together (literally). He’s our four legged, cross eyed best friend.

Loki unfortunately got out and hit by a car. We took him to the emergency vet and they want to do surgery but we do not have the money to pay the thousands of dollars. I know people say don’t get a dog if you can’t afford it but the surgery amount is a lot, we take very good care of him and is fed special meals and almost never eats dog food. Currently he has medicine but we need help.

Loki is the best, he knows how to sit, lay down, paw, high five, hug, and give kisses (trust me he knows what he’s doing he won’t give kisses endless you have the food in your hand), he even knows sit and lay down in sign language. He loves to cuddle and take up the whole bed, we think he thinks he’s small. We have another dog and they adore each other, she’s a new addition but they don’t act so!

We live off a fixed income with just enough to keep us happy at home, no need to go out to have fun. This surgery is a very unexpected major expense that is not possible. Being able to get this surgery would mean everything to us to keep our best friend here with us.
