Loki is a 5-year-old Pitbull in Marion, NC, who needs $2,000 for Surgery, Bloodwork, X-rays.

Meet our sweet boy Loki. Loki is a Pitbull who was rescued by Mercy Fund Animal Rescue. This boy was set to be euthanized and Mercy rescued him in the last hour. Loki is one of Mercy’s “forever fosters” and will remain in Mercy’s care his whole life.

However, Loki has two kind forever foster parents who give him a permanent loving home – and his foster dad even sits with him while he eats (and chicken is Loki’s favorite food!). His foster mama describes him as a sweet, complicated guy who is too smart for his own good!

Because of the trauma and displacement Loki experienced, he developed severe anxiety issues which prevent him from being up for adopted. But, Mercy brought Loki into their forever fosters which gives him a chance a happy and thriving life.

Last week, Loki had severe weakening of his legs and had an emergency vet visit which found tumors on his spleen. Loki had to have emergency surgery to remove his spleen to prevent it from rupturing which would have taken our sweet boy Loki’s life. We need your help!
