Loki is a 8 year old American Bulldog in Wilmington , NC, who needs $1,550 for Gastric Ileus Supportive Care.

Loki was first introduced to me as my neighbors dog and from the very first time we met he was so oddly attached to me. I watched him grow up and was well aware of his bond w me. I moved and 3 years later over a hour away I got called to triage a critical patient and low and behold it was Loki barely alive mangled by housemates and they wanted to euthanize...he started his new life w me that day.

Loki was being treated by the DVMs at my job for a suspected abdominal mass. Ultrasound sound was ordered but due to his stomach being overly full of food she couldn't see and told me to fast and come back. Rechecked X-rays. and due to size of stomach we went straight to eastern Carolina veterinary referral where he was admitted and treatment for gastric ileus began. Digestive tract was not workin

Loki literally goes everywhere w me even to work everyday. He's just the best dog Its clear there is a huge bond between us and truthfully after he became mine he saved me from giving into suicide bc all I could think about was what's going to happen to him. He's going to miss me so much I can't do that to him and that's what kept me moving forward. He is my soul dog to know Loki is to love loki

I just moved to a new town new job I already put about 800 into his care at my job and the ultrasound same day he's admitted and I'm staring at a $1550 bill and just dont have it.
