Loki is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Winchester, VA, who needs $2,000 for Dialysis for the Kidneys.

I met Loki at a really low point in my life, I was going thru a lot having just lost my father and truthfully at the time I was strung out. But then a friend of mine approached me saying he had this 4 month old puppy that needed a home and I jumped at the opportunity to take him. Fast forward 5 years later that dog changed my life and made me a better person and taught me what love meant and felt.

Loki has been extremely healthy his whole life until about a week ago when he got real weak and cried to even jump into the bed, so I got concerned and took him to the vet to find out that his kidneys are failing, after taking him home and bringing him back 3 days later it was determined that he was going into acute kidney failure with dialysis being the only form of treatment that could help

Loki came to me at a time when I was completely lost in life having just lost my father, he swiftly became my best friend and at the same time showed me what it feels like to love someone and to feel truly loved. Loki brings a smile to everyone’s face that he comes in contact with, with his funny personality and his big smile. He loves to play and will squeak his toy until you play back.

I never had an emergency fund for something like this so it caught me extremely off guard. This is an urgent matter so I can attempt to help save my best friends life, as of now I’ve already spent up to $4,000 on him and my back is against the wall & I need help for dialysis
